At Eden Springs, our story begins with family.

I know firsthand the joys and challenges families face when caring for loved ones. My Grandma lived at home with dementia, cared for by a family member who gave everything she could. It was incredibly hard, and it showed me just how overwhelming it can be when one person shoulders that responsibility alone. My other Grandma lived in a large assisted living facility, where we later learned she had likely experienced multiple small strokes before a final one took her from us. Both experiences shaped me deeply. They taught me that while every family’s journey is different, all of us want the same things: dignity for our loved ones, peace of mind for ourselves, and a home where care feels like family.

That’s the vision behind Eden Springs.

Deena Laugen, our founder, brings together a rare combination of medical understanding, real estate expertise, and heartfelt compassion.

Before entering real estate development she spent nearly a decade in the pharmaceutical industry, specializing in geriatrics and Alzheimer’s care. This gave her a deep appreciation for the complexities of dementia and the emotional toll it takes on families and caregivers.

Since 2015, Deena has built a successful real estate career rehabilitating homes, developing multifamily properties, and leading projects across several states. She is also a Certified Residential Assisted Living Specialist (RALS™), bringing specialized training in senior housing design and operations.

Eden Springs Assisted Living represents the culmination of that journey. More than a residence, it is a boutique community designed to feel like home where compassion, connection, and dignity are woven into every detail. Our mission is to redefine what assisted living can be: a place where residents thrive, families feel at peace, and every day holds possibility.
